This was my last week as a volunteer on base at Cap Ternay - tomorrow I move into Beau Vallon to start my dive master internship at the Seychelles Underwater Centre, which I am pretty dang excited about. This past week was filled with diving, diving, more diving, some incredible sunsets, gorgeous scenery and a final Mexican Fiesta BBQ (I'm sure you'll see photos on Facebook - $10 if you can guess what I am dressed up as). I saw two white tip reef sharks this week, along with heaps of other cool fish and the usual underwater creatures. We took another trip to the waterfall yesterday and went for a swim in the freshwater, which feels quite funny after swimming in salt water for so long, I almost forgot how to tread water. Last night was the most incredible sunset at Baie Ternay - while we were sitting on the rock watching the clouds change colors - a baby squid swam up and starting circling around the rock, followed by a baby lemon shark! Incredible. I am truly grateful each day to be here living this awesome life and it pretty much just keeps getting better. Here are highlights from the week - enjoy!
